Our own cookies: none for tracking

sounding has no accounts, no sign-in, and sets no first-party tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage holds a few small UI preferences (for example, that you dismissed the corner ad this session) — these never leave your device and identify nothing about you.

Third-party advertising cookies

The service is ad-supported. Google AdSense and its certified partners may set and read cookies (or use similar technologies) to serve and measure ads, including — where you've consented — personalized ads based on your visits to this and other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising policies, and you can manage personalization at Google Ad Settings. Where required, a consent prompt is shown before personalized ads are served.

Controlling cookies

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies (look under Privacy or Site Settings). Blocking third-party cookies does not affect any feature of sounding — reports generate and save exactly the same; you may simply see less relevant ads.
